The owner advises the van is set up for both on-grid and off-grid use, with a 200W Renogy solar panel system, two 130Ah leisure batteries, a Victron DC-DC charger, a mains battery charger, full electric hook-up, a 3,000-watt inverter with a 240V double socket, and a voltmeter display panel. Buyer Neil enquired via AutoTrader and wants to know if the base van was ex-fleet or ex-rental prior to the campervan conversion.
The owner doesn't know the van's history before Summit to Sea Conversions — they bought it from Summit to Sea, choosing it on the basis of its low mileage and year.
Nikki Holmes (buyer, first-time motorhome purchase, viewing booked 19 Sep 11:00) emailed 18 Sep asking about service history, MOT advisories, accident history, hab check, gas/electrical certificates, damp status, insulation and reason for selling. I answered from the listing/history data on service history, MOT, write-off check and hab/damp; the certificates, insulation and reason for selling aren't in our details.
1) No gas or electrical (EICR) certificate was supplied with the van, and there's no Summit to Sea sign-off paperwork on the electrics — but the owner is happy to contact Summit to Sea Conversions to ask whether anything can be provided. 2) The van is fully insulated throughout. 3) The owner is selling because they've bought a new house that's a long-term renovation project, so their priorities have changed.
Buyer Tisha Smith enquired via AutoTrader today on the 2022 Vauxhall Movano (£22,000). She's weighing up a long drive from home; main sticking point is bed length for her 6ft 6in husband. Bed dimensions aren't in our listing details.
The fixed rear bed measures 179cm long, though there are window recesses which give 194cm, and it's 129cm wide. It's a fixed bed and can't be extended, as it sits between the kitchen area and the rear doors.
Buyer Jack Scorer enquired via Autotrader on 26 Sep 2026 asking for service history/invoices including cambelt, clutch and recent service. Cambelt and service date answered from seller details; the clutch and sharing invoice copies are still unanswered. Jack replied the same day saying evidence of care is enough for him.
The owner says the clutch has had no issues and no work done on it. The only service is the one they had done themselves (28 July 2026). At only 36,000 miles it didn't need a service before that. They're happy to share the MOT work paperwork.
Melissa Horrocks enquired about the 2022 Vauxhall Movano campervan and asked specifically for the height of the fixed rear bed off the floor - this isn't in the listing details or previous seller answers.
The fixed rear bed is 90cm from the floor to the bed frame, plus another 15cm for the mattress. The owner uses a step to get into bed.
