2025 Laika Ecovip
Motorhome Pig is proud to offer this 2025 Laika Ecovip as a broker, on behalf of the private owner.
This is a nearly new, low-mileage Laika Ecovip finished in grey, built on an automatic diesel base. The rear-lounge layout provides a sociable living space, with the lounge converting to the main sleeping area — a practical arrangement well suited to couples touring in comfort.
Registered in 2025 and with very few miles covered, this motorhome presents as a virtually new example of Laika's well-regarded Ecovip range. At 3,500 kg maximum permissible mass, it is driveable on a standard car licence.
This van has many upgrades to the standard factory fit - 300w solar panel with Victron controller. 280ah Fogstar lithium battery. 3000w inverter. Victron charging system. Front and rear Avtec TV's with booster and fixed roof antenna. WiFi with fixed roof antenna. Rear view mirror camera, with integrated front and rear dash cams. Pioneer head unit with apple CarPlay and another rear view camera. Truma diesel heating system and i-net controller, with bluetooth and SMS. The vehicle also has the towbar frame fitted, but will need the electrics doing to complete this install.

Questions & Answers
Buyer Mark Dentith sent a detailed technical enquiry covering engine output, paperwork, fault/warranty/accident history, Laika habitation inspection and body warranty transferability, the aftermarket Victron/lithium/inverter/solar installation and its certification, post-upgrade weights and axle weights, towbar frame approval, ISOFIX, Truma heater model, and finance settlement/clear title.
1) Engine output: 140bhp. 2) Original dealer invoice / factory build sheet from Chelston: possibly still has them, but the owner is going through a divorce and paperwork is currently spread across different places, so he can't confirm for certain at the moment. 3) Faults since delivery: the only issue was some fault codes on the Truma boiler system. Once these were cleared it has not errored again. No water ingress, electrical issues or rattles. 4) Bodywork, accident repair or insurance claim: none. 5) First Laika annual habitation/water-ingress inspection: one will be due. The owner's understanding is that provided it is carried out by a Laika dealer, he sees no reason the warranty wouldn't be upheld. 6) The 280Ah Fogstar lithium, 3,000W inverter, Victron charging system and 300W solar were all installed by the owner himself — this is the fifth van on which he has completed similar work. 7) Victron kit: the DC-DC charger is the factory-fitted unit, charging at 40A while driving. Mains charging is three linked Victron chargers giving a total of 75A. 8) The original mains charger and 100Ah habitation battery were removed and sold, so they are not available with the van. 9) The van has not been weighed since the upgrades and towbar frame were fitted, so there are no actual or axle weights available. 10) The towbar frame was purchased from PF Jones and fitted by the owner himself, as he has done on previous vans. Only the electrics are left to complete — he simply never got round to that side of it. 11) ISOFIX on the rear travelling seats: the owner believes so, but isn't certain. 12) Truma heating: a Truma Combi 6D, factory fitted. 13) Outstanding finance: the owner confirms this will be settled so clear title passes on completion. 14) Use in the first year: very little, hence the mileage. He collected it in Somerset/Devon, drove straight down to Cornwall to visit a friend and stayed a few nights, returned to Devon to have the heating fault codes cleared, then drove back up to the North West. Since then a few day trips and one night away on Anglesey at the end of July. The plan had been to use it for towing his race car this season, but issues with the car and then his separation meant that never happened. He describes it as perfect and very cosy, says it's by far the best van he's owned, is heartbroken to be selling, and intends to buy another once his situation is resolved.

Seller's ID verified by Motorhome PigA quick honest note
Because you're buying directly from the owner, the condition of the motorhome is yours to judge on the day - and that's a good thing (it's why there's no dealer markup). We verify ownership and run an HPI check; the motorhome's condition is the one thing best judged in person. We'll give you a checklist so you can view like a pro and satisfy yourself everything's spot-on before you buy.
Our checks cover the seller and the registers, not the vehicle itself, and they rely on data supplied to us by third parties, so we can't accept responsibility for errors or omissions in it. However thorough our checks are, please arrange your own independent inspection and your own history check before you commit to buying.
