It is with great reluctance that we are selling our beloved campervan. This VW, T4 Sedgemoor Conversion is a rare hi-top model with insulated roof lining. This recent conversion comes with 12 v fridge, sink, and 2 way cooking range and foldaway table. Rock & roll double bed, LED lights, ample USB and cigarette lighter sockets. It comes with a Sargent, split battery charging & mains control unit; full 240v hook-up - includes long cable; new leisure battery to support off-grid power. Side windows come with curtains & dark 'limo' tinted for privacy. It has separate sleeping compartment above main bed, ideal for kids, large storage area above the cab. The solid high-top roof provides permanent standing headroom throughout the day.
Recently resprayed green and black, the van has 1 yrs MOT, low mileage: 93,000. This RH drive, manual 2.5 diesel, can be driven by anyone on a standard UK driving licence. Layout & Sleeping:- 4-Berth / 5 Seatbelts: A highly practical configuration equipped with 5 legal travelling seatbelts, making it a great option for family day trips or weekend getaways.
Recent work
A good amount has been sorted mechanically over recent times:
- Track rod ends replaced
- Alternator replaced and tested as working efficiently
- New starter motor
- Wiring through the rubber boot to both the driver's and passenger doors stripped down and replaced (a common VW fault)
- Auto door lock mechanism replaced on both sides
- Electric window switches tested and replaced as required
- Rear braking system overhauled with parts replaced
- Welding repairs to the inner sill
Please note this is a campervan rather than a full motorhome - it's set up as an ideal weekender. There is no interior heating fitted and the sink runs cold water only.

Buyer Remo Dalessio asked about service history, mechanical condition (cam belt, clutch, underbody rust) and heating/water.
Cam belt: the owner has had the van for 4 years and hasn't replaced it himself. It looks to have been replaced fairly recently and, when he had the timing adjusted a little while ago, he asked the mechanic about the belt and was told it looks OK. Clutch: original as far as he knows — he hasn't replaced it, and it feels in good condition when driven. Underbody/corrosion: underneath seems to be in reasonable condition. Beyond the sill welding already mentioned, nothing else to report. The whole van was resprayed within the last 5 years, so the bodywork is in good order. Heating: no interior heating fitted. Water: cold water only to the sink — no hot water supply. The owner also points out this is a campervan rather than a full motorhome — set up as a weekender.
