Questions & Answers
Buyer Susie C enquired via the listing and asked whether the garage section moves into a seated area.
The garage area itself is fixed and includes two long drawers. However, as shown in the video clip, pulling back the seat cover reveals a wooden back — this folds down from the bench seat to form part of the double bed.
Buyer Geoff Naylor enquired via the listing asking how long the current owners have had the van and when the pop-top was installed.
The owner has had the van since approximately October 2023 (just under three years), and the pop-top roof was fitted by Autobarn in March 2024. He has the receipts and paperwork at home for both.
Buyer Amanda Murphy enquired via the website and asked specifically whether the cam belt has been changed.
The owner hasn't changed the cam belt since buying the van in 2023, and isn't sure whether it was done before he purchased it.
Buyer Julie Mills enquired via eBay/website asking simply "Is this lwb" - the wheelbase isn't stated anywhere in the listing details.
It's the short wheelbase (SWB) model.
Hayley Richardson enquired via AutoTrader today (5 Sep) and has a pending £8,500 offer. She says she'd need to change the whole inside to have a sink, so needs to know what's actually fitted internally. The advert lists the garage, pop-top, awning and electrics but nothing on a kitchen or sink.
There are two narrow kitchen cupboards with an IKEA worktop fitted. There's no plumbed-in sink, tap or fresh/waste water system and no fitted hob — the owner used a portable water butt, a portable gas cooker and an air fryer, but none of those are included in the sale. So that side of it is pretty much a blank canvas for the new owner to fit out as they want. The 2000W inverter will run a microwave, a small air fryer, a toastie maker and similar.
Buyer Wendy Clarke enquired via the website asking whether there are any leaks in the pop roof or anywhere in the van.
The pop-top seals properly and has never leaked — it's fitted onto a lip, so leaks are unlikely. There are no leaks or damp anywhere else in the van; the owner used it daily to travel to and from work.
Chris Sutton enquired via AutoTrader asking whether the campervan is good, sound running and without faults. His message was cut off mid-sentence ("and also when is...") so likely also asking about the MOT.
All running well — no warning lights and no known faults. The owner uses it every day to travel to and from work, and a test drive is welcome. The MOT runs to around March/April 2027.
