Questions & Answers
Buyer David Brook asked for confirmation of how the 5 seats are set up, whether they are all belted and forward facing.
Five belted seats in total. Up front there are two individual seats (not a bench) — one for the driver and one for the passenger. In the back, the long bench behind the driver's seat has two belts, and the jump seat behind the passenger has a single belt. The seller has also sent photos of the seating.
Buyer Iain Patterson asked about swivel front seats, whether there's an internal heater/hot water, and about damp/damage history.
1) Yes — the passenger seat swivels 360 degrees (the driver's seat does not). 2) There's a diesel heater for the habitation area. There is no hot water. 3) The van is completely free of damp and damage; the owner hasn't had a formal damp test done as there's been no need for one.
Buyer Ian Farrer asked whether it has a diesel heater and what brand it is, and whether the manual gearbox is 5-speed or 6-speed.
1) The habitation diesel heater is a Webasto. 2) The gearbox is a six-speed manual. The seller has also sent photos of the heater, the gearbox and the rear seatbelts.
Buyer Alison Cord wants to confirm it's a genuine 4 berth and whether there is a bed in the roof space.
It's not a pop-top — the main cabin has an extended (high) top with an upper platform that extends to sleep two youngsters or one adult. The lounge conversion downstairs sleeps three, and two very comfortably. The van is LWB, second owner, registered as a Light Goods Vehicle, six-speed manual 140bhp, diesel (Webasto) heating with no hot water, and the cooker/oven runs on propane in small blue bottles stored under the sink.
Buyer Sue B asked how the bedding arrangements work and where the separate shower is located.
There isn't a shower cubicle inside the van. There's a shower connection at the rear, so showers are taken outside the van (the seller has sent a photo of the connection). The lounge converts down to sleep three, two very comfortably, with an upper platform above the main cabin sleeping two youngsters or one adult.
