Buyer Paul Mason has asked a wide range of questions including service history, damp/damage, previous owners, tyre condition, heating/water, storage, location, price negotiable, HPI check, living area, exterior, and marks/scratches. Most can be answered from listing/seller details, but I need to check about damp/damage condition, any known marks/scratches on the exterior, whether the price is negotiable, and the current condition of the heating/water systems.
The seller confirms: 1) No marks, scratches, or cosmetic blemishes on the exterior. 2) No known damp or damage. 3) No flexibility on the £24,000 asking price. 4) Heating and water system are all working well — no issues.
Buyer Simon Coker asked if the van has a microwave and oven, and whether it can go off grid.
No oven fitted. The Crafter has a two-ring gas hob, a microwave, and an air fryer is included.
Buyer wants to know whether you can sit on the toilet and shut the door with no problem — i.e. how enclosed/roomy the toilet space is.
No — you can't close the door while sitting on the toilet.
Buyer asked whether the MOT brake advisory (twisted nearside front brake hose) and minor (corroded front brake pipe) have been rectified.
Not to my knowledge — the brake hose and pipe items haven't been rectified since the MOT. (Ken mentioned new brake pads and discs all round.)
