2016 Volkswagen Transporter T6 Conversion

Motorhome Pig is proud to offer this 2016 Volkswagen Transporter T6 Conversion as a broker, on behalf of the private owner.

This manual diesel van is a four-berth conversion with a rock-and-roll bed and a garage fitted with storage for a coolbox, luggage, camping gear, and folding chairs. The layout suits couples and small families looking for a practical, compact touring vehicle. The owner advises the van has covered just 88,320 miles and benefits from a full service history, with the last service completed in July 2025. A cambelt change was carried out in November 2019. The interior is reported to be in very good condition due to light use.

The owner has fitted a new towbar and advises that WiFi and a dashcam are installed (WiFi requires a SIM card; dashcam requires an SD card). An Apple CarPlay head unit with Bluetooth is fitted, along with a SUB dongle for hands-free use. A TV is available for entertainment. The van is fitted with an inverter, parking sensors, alloy wheels, swivel seats, and a fridge with auto-energy selection. Twin leisure batteries and a factory alarm are also included.

The owner notes there is no fixed heating system — they used an oil-filled radiator plugged into electric hook-ups on campsites. There is no hot water system; a 12V electric pump fills the sink from water butts, and they heated water using a kettle on the gas hob as needed.

Questions & Answers

Q

Buyer Richard has asked about the heating and water system (what type of heating, hot water setup) and whether the price is negotiable.

A

There is no heater fitted in the van — the seller used an oil-filled radiator plugged into the electric hook-up on campsites. There is no hot water system either — there is a 12V electric pump that fills the sink from the water butts under the sink, and they used a kettle on the gas hob to heat water for the sink. Regarding price, the seller says the price is not flexible as he has already reduced it by £1,500 since listing. He also notes the van has lower mileage (88,320) than comparable vans of the same age, the interior is in excellent condition and barely used, and money has been spent on repairs when needed.

A quick honest note

Because you're buying directly from the owner, the condition of the motorhome is yours to judge on the day — and that's a good thing (it's why there's no dealer markup). We verify ownership and history; the motorhome's condition is the one thing best judged in person. We'll give you a checklist so you can view like a pro and satisfy yourself everything's spot-on before you buy.

How Buying Works

We make buying a motorhome safe, simple, and stress-free. Here's how we help you every step of the way.

1

Find Your Perfect Match

Our site is not open to the public. All sellers are under exclusive 90-day contracts with Motorhome Pig, having signed legally binding agreements. We verify the owner's identity and ownership and run HPI, finance and theft checks on every vehicle — the condition itself is yours to judge in person when you view it.

2

Meet the Real Owner

We arrange your viewing at the motorhome's location and give you everything you need to make a confident decision — including a simple checklist of what to look at, from damp and habitation to the engine and paperwork. No pressure, no salesperson — just you, the owner, and the motorhome. Take your time and ask anything.

3

Secure Handover

We provide finance options, handover guidance, and support with the V5 and paperwork. No buyer fees — the price you see is the price you pay.

💚 No Buyer Fees— The price you see is exactly what you pay. We're here to help, not add costs.
